I have a wedding in July and thought about an engraved pen(s) and box set as a gift. Anyone done any? How about some pics for inspiration if you have some. I was thinking about a pearled white acrylic blank with a classier kit like a Majestic.

I made this one for my Daughter's wedding to use at the guest book. I had it engraved by the place listed below. I also bought the box from them and had it engraved with the script my wife made up. I am going to do another one for my Nephew's wedding in Sept.

Paul that is a very pretty pen..

Just a thought on a wedding set maybe to use that acrylic or the kit that you can add what you want and let it setup and then turn, maybe add something that relates to wedding, divorce papers, preneps..lol..
but maybe something like white pearl chips with gold or ????

Maybe even etched like glass???

Thats a nice pen Paul! Where did you get the blank from or did you cast it yourself?

Matt, I believe I got that blank from CSUSA it was pearl white, the one I intend to use on my Nephew's is called "Acrylic Pearl - Wedding White" from Exotic Blanks:

The last stuff I bought came from their hand made supply. I'll have to go and look and see just what they have.

Ditto exotic blanks for materials -- I like their alternate ivory for pens to be engraved. Another ditto for kallenshaan woods engraving. Engraved box in the photo is from Ken and he also has inserts for some of the common pen kits (CSUSA Jr Statesman II shown).

+1 for exoticwoods and their alternative ivory. It's a joy to turn with a sharp skew or scraper. I've not used their wedding blank so I can't compare the two.

The majestic is a massive pen which would give you lots of room to engrave. I'd search the IAP site for wedding pens if you need more inspiration.
