well I realized when I was getting ready to post this that it was flatwork but at the same time this is where I post 99 percent of my stuff so I hope you dont mind but if you do I understand.

I made these for a friend mine. Some of the brazilian hardwoods in these really shined and the grained just popped when that oil hit it..

On the small one there are 2 whitish looking spots but that is reflection and not in the board itself..

Karl, when I first opened this thread I thought you had glued up a bunch of those thousands of pen blanks you have stored up!!!:D

These are some nice cutting boards. Not sure how much this group can appreciate something that flat, but this ol' flatworker does!;)

Looking good.

But if I may be permitted, I think you've classified the work incorrectly.

It's not flatwork, it's the beginning stages of a segmented-bowl-from-a-board.

Or maybe some pepper mills, or lots of pens.

Look at the boards... then look at the bandsaw... then look at the lathe.

You'll be recategorizing in no time.
