Hardwood dealer in Homestead / Florida City

Good hardwood suppliers are pretty scarce down these ways. Sheridan Lumber in Hollywood (954-920-8079) has a decent selection but they aren't cheap and they aren't in Homestead!

Don't you know it Bill! I've been going to Shell Lumber near downtown Miami but that's still quite a trip. Have you been to General Hardwoods near 595?

I am unfamilar with that supplier, so needless to say, no, I have never been there. What sort of hardwood are looking for? I have had decent luck buying through the internet and typically it is cheaper than what I would have paid at a lumber store in Hollywood.
