Its a Walnut striker and not sure on the top, it was a scrap that felt about the right weight!

Ken, I like the shape of these - how do they feel in your hand? The bottom looks like there is a slight "ogee" to the profile.

Nice combo! Not sure on the tip of the striker either, but it sure has a coarse grain structure.

John, they fit like a glove. Once I get the sound like I want it I plan to change the shape just a tad so that you can get a good but light grip on the call. Nothing like holding one in your finger tips and have it fly out of your hand at the wrong moment haha!
