Just returned from a great road trip through the heartland of America. Wanted to gloat about this new facility I built in Milwaukee. This is the Kern building on the campus of Milwaukee School of Engineering. For the last 4.25 years I've been sending tons of $$$$$ to this address so I naturally assumed that's how it's being used.
All joking aside my travels took me to the graduation of my baby, Lyndsae. She just completed her undergraduate studies in Bio Medical Engineering. Could I be more proud??? That is Gloatable:D .
In route I did a little toyl shopping and stopped in to visit our good friend John Milliunas and family. http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=14055 (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=14055)
Charted a course back home via country roads and small towns with a couple more Neander scores.
There were many tattle tail signs of wood shops along the trip with large piles of sawdust, slabs of exotic lumber under shelters for drying and turning blanks with ends sealed,
The last leg was along the mighty Mississippi River. The sunny day and majestic scenery is going to be a warm memory in the cold, overcast days to come.

MarkThat's a treasure from my other expensive habit, I mean hobby:o . My computer den is adorned with nautical antiquity. That’s a shackle (for joining anchors, chain, line, cable.........) I found in a river town shop that caught my eye. I got the owner to throw it in with the shaves.

Great Score, Tyler!

"Your" Building looks great!

Looks like you had good weather for travel, an extreme comodity this time of year in "The Great Northern Terrotories" we both inhabit.

Thus far, Tyler only a slight dusting of snow on the cars & grass; strange

But the trip back was great.

Tyler -

Congratulations to both Dad and daughter. Knew you were out on an important road trip since you didn't even show up on any "guest" computers from the road.

Well done!
