...is right between the motor shaft and the main drive pulley. At least that's where it's supposed to be! Mine wasn't. Explains why my piece kept stalling out. Had to stop... go to the hardware store and get another key (god only knows where the danged thing went) and then try and stick it into the slot by reaching between the end of the motor shaft and the side of the enclosure. It's pretty snug in there but no way I'm taking the motor out... Oops... spoke too soon. An afternoon shot to you know where but I got my lathe running again so we will see what tomorrow holds. Now, where did I leave that bottle of brandy...
