Pens; "Black Pearl" & "Stripes"

Here are a couple of pens I recently turned.
This is a Black Pearl Amalgam-Mutt (Brown Mallee Burl cap with polyurethane resin) dressed in a Vial Chrome Rollerball Pen Kit from Ernie at Beartoooth Woods, with a CA finish. This is an awesome kit to work with and leaves plenty of the blank to admire.

The next one is an Amalgam-Mutt Stripes blank. This one is made from Canarywood and polyurethane resin with 8 sky blue stripes. Dressed in a Jr. Statesman Tit. Gold kit with a CA finish.

Nice job on both of them. I agree with your assessment of the Vail kit... It's a new favorite of mine. The resin colors are a perfect match for the brown mallee burl IMHO.
