I think I read this in a Johnson Plastics newsletter about Rowmark applying some sort of transfer tape on their stock. Is this true? Has anyone come across this yet? I think they said they were in the process of phasing it in. It would be wonderful if they did, would save a lot of $ in transfer tape for vector cutting stock.

I doubt it would save money... they would just mark up the price of their stock to cover the tape's cost, machine time/manpower to apply it, etc.

Dont they already hve a protective covering? The Rowmark we get has and we just cut right thru it.

Perhaps it's PVC?

I don't know if it's PVC, but it melts and makes a mess and/or sticks to the edges. Transfer tape removes very easily.

Yeah, I would think they would raise the price if they applied transfer tape. It would be nice though, would save an extra step.
