Hey OK so I have a question I know how to step and replace the exact same thing... and I know how to make many single pages with different text with merge but how can i make it so that its makes a sheet with multiples on the same page?
So if the object is 2 x 4 and they all need to be different text for each one I could achieve 3 wide and 12 down but how to do the text on each one differently?

Sorry - can't help. We do multiples all the time but we use Engravelab. I'm sure one of the Corel folks here will point you in the right direction.

Based on that video, his final output had three 'signatures' or pages of content and he sent it as a single job. What happens at the laser then when he needs to change substrate? Did the single print job save as three 'files' at the printer?
I am curious what would happen on my Mercury if I did a multi-page print job.
