I thought about buying this unit just to re-sell on Craigslist, but then realized in doing so would be more hassel than it's worth.

They're not going to sell you that in the store for $2.50, regardless of if they honor online prices.
But, you can buy it online for that. But whether you'll actually get it for that, is another story. And, as Terry said, probably more hassel than it's worth.

I went through the buying process almost to the end, but since they are likely on permanant back order, I decided it wasn't worth the hassle to hassle them. And any planer they have I wouldn't be satisfied with. Would make it much harder to justify a good one with the wife.
