Pen effort still going?

As a new turner, I'm making a lot of small items for the holidays.
And ... I find out about the Freedom pens!

Is the effort still on?
Can I join in making pens for the troops?
Or has it ended?

Joe,
I t has not ended. As a group we have a commitment for 100,000 pens.
we jsut broke the 20,000 pen mark which was ouur goal for the year.
check out the general info thread for more on how to get involved, or I am sure those more knowledgable will reply as well.
