Anyone catch "American Craftsman" TV show?

Steve Thomas is hosting what I hope will be a new series on Discovery HD. (this channel makes the cable subscription cost worth it all by itself)

The current episode visits Van Dam boat builders. I was floored by the craftsmanship... and that someone still pays to have this level of work done.

Try to catch it.

I don't know what's going on with this show. The episode you saw originally aired some months ago. There hasn't been another new episode since. I was hoping, like you, that was going to be a regular series. It was a great show.

On a related note (boat building), the recent DVD from Bear Mountain Boats on canoe building is awesome. It's really as much about woodworking as it is about canoe building.
