Fellow Creekers,

If there is anyone out there who owns the V-Drum kit from Stockroom Supply - please step up and help me out (or anyone else who can help me out!)

I am wondering if I have made a mistake or if perhaps I was shipped a pulley that is too big? If you look at my attached photograph you may notice that the top of the drive belt is almost level with the top of the drum itself (my gap is about 3/32 inch).

My question is does that mean I should thin my table top so that it is only 1/16 inch thick above the belt? Or even less? Or even cut a path clear through the top of the table?

In summary - how thin is your table top above all your drive pulleys?

Thanks!

regards
Malcolm

The top that they sell, has an opening that goes the length of the axle. It has a cutout spot (probably 1/4" at the thinnest spot), for the pulley and belt.
