Hi guys, I just bought a used 37- 190 craigslist find for $120.
It's a 6" . I dont know too much about it, it has no manual. beds were rusty, it's 110 volts. Any info would be appreciated . Thanks in advance. Mike :?>

I had one for 12 years, and it served me well. I built some fine furniture using that little jointer.

You can get the manual on-line in pdf version. Google "Delta 37-190 jointer" and you can find the manual.

Are those blade bolts really left/hand thread?

Probably not. They screw into the head (tighten), to loosen the blade and backer plate. To "tighten" the blade pack, you need to unscrew the bolt. That's how mine works anyways. It is a little counter-intuitive. Bottom line, if you're loosening it, and it won't move, don't force, try the other way. But remember, you may have just tightened the bolt, so you'll have to put at least the same amount of pressure to loosen what you just tightened.
