In the June-July Issue of Wood Magazine there is a useful primer on dust collection covering CFM, static pressure, ducting recommendations and issues, cyclones, filtering and a table of fairly realistic CFM requirements by type of machine.
I think it is a good read for someone just getting their feet wet in how to control dust. It certainly won't overpower you like Pentz's website might.(although I rely heavily on his good advice).
