Barrel Hinge Install

I hope this is a quick question - I just have had time to peruse lately since I have too much work to do at work... go figure!!!

I'm using 10mm Barrel Hinges... and I used a 10mm drill bit - but the holes are SOOOO tight and can't push them down into the holes very well... not to mention if once I do get them in there, what if I need to adjust and turn them slightly.

What's the secret? I haven't had time to research either, so if there's a thread, please direct me!

Your bit might be slightly undersized. The barrel hinges are not really "precision" built so they might be slightly oversized. But they do need to be snug in the holes. These hinges are NOT adjustable!!! You need to get them right the first time.
