Anyone have a source for the 2 brass nuts on a Connover spokeshave? I believe the thread size is 3-32. Thanks. Phil

Did you really mean 3-32? Hard for me to believe Conover would use such a tiny machine screw for anything, and this isn't a standard thread pitch anyway (#3 screws use 48 threads per inch by current standards). Did you mean #6, #8, or #10 screws, which each have 32 tpi standard pitches available?

I'm unfamiliar with the specific nuts. If they're hex nuts, your local hardware store may have them. If they're knurled or otherwise specialized nuts, one of the hardware houses, like McMaster-Carr, may have them.

Bill, I think the size is correct since I tried the local hardware store for nuts and found the "sizing board" with various nuts and bolts. The only one that fit was 3-32. Nothing close in the drawers except hex nuts so I seek elsewhere. Phil
