In the process of building cabinets with drawers to store nuts, bolts, other crap in my workshop. Already have two sets of dividers made for drawers. They are a pretty snug fit with the 1/4" stopped dado joints.

My question is, should I glue the divider assembly to the bottom of the drawer and together(making it unchangeable), or is there another approach? What I don't want is the dividers lifting up sending screws, nuts etc. underneath the dividers mixing all together.

I would say to go ahead and glue them down --- you have the dados/grooves already cut into the bottom, so to move the layout would expose them.

For gluing - just a couple inches at one end of each divider should hold nicely, to allow a bit of movement for the rest of the carcass.
