Hi everyone,
A bit ago I asked for some advice about finishing these candlesticks. They are all done. Have a lock and let me know what you think. Thank you everyone for your advice. I used Watco Danish Oil and buffed with tripoli and Renaissance Wax. These were the largest items I've ever done and aside from a few minor things they came out pretty good. I hope my Mom likes them!

Oh my.... ithink you have started soemthing here... that is just cool...
Most think of candle holders as a tall slender piece with many cruves.... those are clean and just down right nice....

Hi, Jenn. Very well executed! Two thumbs up!
Do you have a spike in the center to hold the candles? Just curious.

Very nice. The form is good on each and works well as a set. Sometimes when making a set like that the forms don't work well on individual pieces (height vs dia ratios, etc) but these all seem to 'be in the zone' so they could be used as a grouping or separated. Good job.

No Allen, I didn't spike the centers. I thought about it but my Mom likes the battery powered candles that come on on their own. She doesn't have to worry about fire that way. Thanks for the thumbs up!!

Never heard of those Jenn...might be worth looking into...can you provide a source for the candles?

Mike, My Mom usually gets them on QVC but I've seen them at Joanne's craft stores and Bed Bath and Beyond. Amazon also has them. Just type in Flameless candle in your search engine. They are great because you don't have to worry about fire and they flicker and look pretty realistic.
