Reapply Target EM9000

I sprayed some cabinets with white tinted Target EM9000 about 3 weeks ago.
After getting a good look in the sunlight there are some places that show through.
I would like to spray on another coat. Can I just spray over or do I need to do some special prep?

You can shoot subsequent coats directly over the existing coat. If you have any surface imperfections lightly sand with 400 grit, then apply additional coats.

You are well past the recoat window for EM9000. You must scuff sand the entire piece before recoating. The EM9000 has about a 24 hour recoat window where you will get a chemical burn in and sanding is not required. After 3 weeks the finish has cured and a mechanical bond by sanding is required for proper adhesion. I would scuff sand with 400, wipe down with a 50/50 water/DNA mix and you will be ready to go.
