Need some cedar planter plans/ideas

I want to make loml a cedar planter for the back deck. Anyone seen any good free plans in magazines or online?

I made one without trying/wanting to. I make cedar chests of all sizes, from full size down to about twenty inches long. I made one of the small ones (about twenty inches long) and used cedar that was too green. When it dried a big crack opened in the top and rather than try to salvage the project I drilled some holes in the bottom, put in some fiberglass mesh and gravel and gave it to the girl I worked with as a planter. Maybe a bit elaborate but with the top intact looked pretty good.
