New saw bench completed. 100% Neander project.

Construction is 5/4" red oak throughout. Dimensions are 10-1/2" W X 32" L X 20" H. Wedged through tenon and tusk tenon construction. Moderately heavy (about 25 lbs) and very stable. Four coats of tung oil for the finish. Right now, there are 3 holes for hold fasts; I want to use it for a couple of months and see whether any more need to be added.

So far this has been a lot of fun to use: another shop aid that I should have made years ago......

First photo is the obligatory "Tools Used" pic.
Second photo is the completed saw bench.
Third photo is the saw bench "in action".

Nice job, like the idea of using hold fast, but do they get in the way?

You might want to consider the peg and wedge system also. It comes in handy at times.
