New saw bench completed. 100% Neander project.
Construction is 5/4" red oak throughout. Dimensions are 10-1/2" W X 32" L X 20" H. Wedged through tenon and tusk tenon construction. Moderately heavy (about 25 lbs) and very stable. Four coats of tung oil for the finish. Right now, there are 3 holes for hold fasts; I want to use it for a couple of months and see whether any more need to be added.
So far this has been a lot of fun to use: another shop aid that I should have made years ago......
First photo is the obligatory "Tools Used" pic.
Second photo is the completed saw bench.
Third photo is the saw bench "in action".
