Last night I put the finishing touches on a veneered tabletop.
Unfortunately the humidity in Toronto jumped this past few days and this sheet was much more ripple-y.
I clamped it using sheer weight - a large sheet of MDF and TONS of books to weight it down.
I veneered the last surface for this project when there was less humidity. I significantly diminished the ripple-iness with an iron. It'll be 24 hours before I can get back to it and I'm wondering if anyone has enough experience trying to "reactivate" PVA type glue with an iron to flatten the veneer out a tad.
Thank you.
Howard
