I happened to drive by this huge Box Elder tree the other day. It's probably as old as the old rock home behind it. Imagine the stories it could tell, not to mention the amazing wood that's probably lurking in there.

Curt, you need to convince the owners that tree presents a danger to their home, and volunteer to save them some headaches by removing it!! A lifetime of turning - right there in one spot!

That's one heck of a big tree! You could always stop in and talk to the owners and let them know there would be a bowl or two (or 10) in it for them!

Time to call the power company. I see a electrical pole there and maybe the tree should be trimmed back to avoid breaking the wires. Like maybe trimmed to the ground?:rolleyes:
