Nice calls I have done one slate call and striker. What I cant figure out is the slate over glass is the glass under the slate and if so is it in contact with the slate?

Nice work, Brian. Right now, I like the maple, but as that osage ages, it will mellow into a beautiful brown. The orange is a little much for me right now.
