At about 12"x7", this is the biggest bowl I've managed to successfully turn . It's a utility piece, destined to hold fruit (so says the wife). Just wipe-on poly, two wheel buffed and renaissance waxed. Has a crack at the bottom, about 1/16" and 4" long, but it it stable and full of finish.

Nice bowl Mike, and very pretty wood. Any fruit will look great in it.

Nice bowl Mike! Pretty wood - great size for use as a fruit bowl! Really like the form - reminds me of a larger rice bowl!

Nice work! Thanks for sharing!

That's a beauty Mike. I like the heaviness of the form and the thickness of the sides. The grain is wonderful. Nice work.

Mike, that one turned out great! Lot going on with the cherry, and almost looks like some spalting on the outer area.
