I had built this humi for a friend in CA. I posted pics of it in Delta tools gallery just for fun. I got an e-mail today from Delta informing me that the humi won project of the month. I didn't even know they did a project of the month so it was a nice suprize. I thought it was kind of cool that a humidor can hold its own in the furniture world.

Wow! Bill, that curly Koa and corner detail is stunning! No wonder it garnered the award. Thanks for sharing the link!

Wow, fantastic workmanship. How long did the corners take you? did you cut the recesses for each piece by hand or with a router?

Bill,

Now that kind of work is very worthy of an award. Outstanding is all I can say.

Well Done... Ken

Thanks very much but I can't take all the credit. I got the inlay design from Jameel, a member here. You may remember the Oud he made. He was kind enough to post the technique for all of us to learn. He's a great guy. I got to meet him at the Woodworkers in America symposium about a year ago in Illinois.
