This is one of my favorites. Woods are African Mahogany, African Blackwood, Bloodwood, and Holly. Measures 9'' wide x 7 1/2 high. Antique oil finish.

Mike, that is a very interesting pattern! You have done a phenomenal job of alignment on the "tooth" pattern as it climbs the form, and I really like the alignment of the diagonal chain in the feature ring.

A very nice piece!! My favorite is still the southwestern piece you did a couple back, though.;)

That's great. I know the curve is smooth, but the way the light reflects off the segments it almost looks faceted. The small holly details are very nice as is the feature ring. Great wood choices as well.

Very beautiful piece Mike! I do see some alignment strangeness, but nobody else will notice. Very nice work.

Very nice! Every time I see one of these I wonder how much time is spent before you even begin turning one of these?

Very nice. I cannot even imagine how one would create a piece like that. I really like the color contrast.

Beautiful work Mike! As much as I like the design, colors of woods used and size - I find the real winner (to me) is the form! Love it!

Excellent work! Thanks for sharing!

Mike, I really enjoy your work; especially the little half triangle that you insert in the top of the segment. I know how to cut the angle at the top of the Segmented piece, but cannot figure out a "safe" way to cut the small half triangle insert. Would you be willing to share the method that you use to cut this piece? Thanks.

Not a cut, just disc sanded.
