is never dull; you never know what you are going to come home to.

Sometimes she asks me to assist her when treating patients. A while back she did some volunteer work at a wild animal rescue org, and I got to play with this:

Well now you don't get to play with one of those everyday! Just how cool is that? Looks like it would have been a blast! Thanks for sharing!

At least you know when your wife is lion to you.

That's one hefty kitty-kat. Very cool.

Showed it my three girls and got an "awwwww, that's not fair!"

My 14-YO wants to be a veterinarian. She is a 4.0+ student and volunteers at the local Humane Society.

The pooch behind you doesn't look to happy about the new "house guest" ;)

Looks like he guarding his food bowl....

Yup - I asked her just last night if the cat had her tongue....

Phil, my wife decided when she was 6 that she wanted to be a vet. It's definitely a labor of love.

Best of success to your daughter. Getting into vet school is very difficult, but it can be a very rewarding profession.

Was it all cuddly and playful? Is it okay now?

Belinda, it was more interested in playing with it's litter mate than people. It was fun to watch them tearing around the house though.

The cub's were ok - all that Laureen did during that visit was to give them their shots.
