Bob, that is a beautiful piece of wood, and you did right by it!! And, they say "if it won't hold soup, it is art" and I think this one qualifies!:D;)

Wow - sure like all the grain swirls and the color! The natural voids sure add some character to the piece!

Love the grain - very unusual pattern. You could use it as a collander. Nice job.

Nice lookin bowl. could use it for popcorn, that is if your dog likes popcorn like mine. The friction polish really brings out the grain.

Very nice indeed. You could always use some obscure, elongated object placed through the two natural openings to secure it as an art piece... You could use an iron rod and call the piece 'Phineas Gage'.

LOL I had to look that one up. vaguely remember the story, but had forgotten the name. Now I just need to find a tamping rod for the bowl:D:eek:
