Which Easy Rougher Tool FIRST or BASIC ?

Which of these tools would you buy first or if you could only have one which one would it be? I turn long spindles or they are really 30 inch flutes. Can the different cutters interchange at all ? I would think not Thanks Mike

This is not the answer you are looking for but I would not want either for spindle work.

Ci1 would be a good start. Straight bit is ok but I prefer the two radiused bits. The Cio does a good job inside of a bowl. Eliminates the tool marks and if you can manage a slow cut the tear out is about the same as a freshly sharpened bowl gouge...Bill..
