I need some advice.

I am almost finished making my table saw routing center. Earlier today I completed the router plate opening in the table. I opted for the Kreg plate levelers because I liked the adjustability of them.

Here is a link to the levelers: http://www.amazon.com/Kreg-PRS3040-Precision-Router-Levelers/dp/B000VRML54/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=hi&qid=1272064366&sr=8-1

Well it turns out at the hold down holes on the plate do not match up with the holes in the plate levelers. This leaves me with two options (at least two)...

1. Drill & countersink new holes in the router plate. I don't like that this will leave more holes and more room for dust to be trapped.

2. Fabricate some sort of 'extender' from aluminum. I could bolt this to the intended mounting hole in the plate leveler. This would have a threaded hole with 1/4" - 20 threads that would reach out beneath the holes of the router plate.

So my question is, what do you think would be the best option?

I'm leaning towards #2.

Thanx,

shotgunn

Mike, post the part's link again but without the "pro" sign-in, or just post a picture.
