I was only available for the TAT from 9:15 am till 12:30 pm, so I don't have the final total on pens turned and brought in. Should be in the area of 300 total.

We worked it like a production line. Had someone cutting blanks to length, another drilling the blanks, someone gluing the tubes into the blanks, Turners doing what we do best, and someone assembling them.

The folks at Woodcraft were great as always.

The first two pictures are "A family affair" Mom and the kids look on as dad turns pens. I also found out that a Service Woman on leave from Iraq came in to thank the turner who made a pen she received; stayed to learn how to turn pens, turned some to take back with her and later (Saturday) came back and bought a Jet Mini Lathe. (WE hooked another - hehe - just love it when that happens!)

The rest of the pictures are of some of the people helping out and some of the pen ready to be assembled as well as some already to be bagged for shipment. More pictures in next post.

Bruce ;)
