old Delta DP

I recentely purchased an old Delta drill oress. It is a DP220. There is no cover on the back of the head,coverin the motor and V belts. Is this the way it is supposed to be? Or is it missing it? I have looked on line and can't seem to find the answer.

Yes, that's how you'll find 99% of them. There was an accessory cover available and they go for big bucks when someone puts one up for sale.
