Wood going to waste(Mulch)

Here is some nice Oak, Maple and Magnolia that will soon be mulch. I hate to see it go that way but I can only bring so much home.I will never use what I have now.I know where there is a truck load of Cherry if and when I get time to get it.It was cut a few weeks ago but I have toooo much as it is.

In all seriousness, if you have more wood than you can turn, I'm sure the local woodturning club could make good use of it. At our club meetings, members often bring their excess wood. The club then raffles it off. It raises a few dollars for club expenses and gives those of us without access to wood another incentive to attend club meetings.

Of course, where you live good wood may be fairly easy to come by. Believe me, in Arizona, that's NOT the case.
