So Spring has sprung in Minnesota and that means garage sales. Had fun this weekend, ended up with a Dremel Scroll Saw #1671 for $30, stopped at the local Rockler and bought a clearance router table top for $10, a Stanley #6 - I think a type 11 for $10, plus 4 racks of miscellaneous hardware for $3. A dowel drilling jig and a couple of unknown clamps for $1. Not a bad haul.
Haven't been able to get the scroll saw working, the blades that came with it seem too short, and I don't have the manual. It runs, so hopefully it is just operator error.
The router table top is nice, but needs a large insert plate that Rockler doesn't sell anymore, so might have to get one custom cut.
The #6 required the blade to be sharpened, but otherwise was perfectly flat and I can already get thin shavings! Now to go and actually build something...
