question regarding Digital Fractional Caliper @ Peachtree

Here is a question for all the other folks that purchased one of these units.

The thumb roller on my moves upwards about 3/32" when I engage it. The roller is a bit loose and sometimes hangs up on the rule before straddling it.

I know its an inexpensive unit but was just wondering if everyone elses roller is sloppy too.

every one i had tends to get sloppy over time. fwiw i find the fractions to be fairly worthless on my most recent one, the previous one was decimal only. i mean, 79/128 doesn't mean a whole lot to my brain, .065 or whatever that's close to is much more useful, but maybe it's just me ;).
