I am posting this here because a friend had asked me for details on this and I figured I'd post it for anyone that is interested.
I have a Jess Em router table with stand, which I really like. The thing I don't like is that there was no real way to contain the dust that comes out the bottom. So I made up this little box. It is pretty simple, just made from 1/2" plywood on 4 sides +bottom, with a pair of 2x2's stretched front to back to mount it to the stand. I used metal angle brackets to attach this to the front and back of base. I included a door so I could change router speeds and easily adjust the base if need be. Everything is sealed with adhesive-backed weather stripping (top and door). I used it quite a bit this past weekend and it did a very good job of keeping the sawdust down, even when cutting blind dadoes.

I just used standard hinges on the door. I had to add a small piece of wood to get the locking bolt to line up. This sure won't win any beauty awards, but it works quite well.
