Went to a nice inexpensive estate sale.
The telescope is missing the smaller lens. Any web page for this type of stuff?

The bigger vise was a nice surprise. I didn't know it was adjustable to varying angle og 90 degrees. Anyone know much about this?

The RR anvil will come in handy. The typewriter works...it folds on itself and has the original case. I need to clean it though as it's a little sticky. Anyone know of a good web site for this? It is an LC smith Corona.

I needed the granite for leatherwork ($1)

I have no clue what model number the singer sewing machine is but I do know it's from 1948 and works perfectly. I need to get an instruction book somehow.
Al Jolson complete and intact record set? Major cool!
The Sewing machine was pricey at $35 but everything alse was 1-3 dollars.

I would appreciate any input about some of this stuff. I would especially like to fix the telescope.
Not in the photos is a Craftsman combination sharpening stone in its box Liste No 6440, 1X2X6" (perfect shape but I don't know what type of stone it is.

I don't know anything about telescopes or the vise you got, but looks like a pretty good score to me.

The Palmgren Vise (http://images.google.com/images?um=1&hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&tbs=isch%3A1&sa=1&q=Palmgren+Vise&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&start=0) looks like the 2,550,629 (http://www.google.com/patents?id=-rNcAAAAEBAJ&zoom=4&dq=patent%3A2550629&as_drrb_ap=q&as_minm_ap=0&as_miny_ap&as_maxm_ap=0&as_maxy_ap&as_drrb_is=q&as_minm_is=0&as_miny_is&as_maxm_is=0&as_maxy_is&pg=PA1#v=onepage&q&f=false) Welz patent design.

The anvil looks like a piece of railroad track (http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&source=imghp&q=Railroad+track+anvil&gbv=2&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=).

Machinists use them - I've got several myself. Some have ground sides so that they can be placed on their side holding the work. Used them on Milling machines as well as drill presses.
