3M Power Visor question.

I have been using the Power Visor whenever I am in my shop for a couple of years and like it. However, I am wondering how, or if, you guys clean the filters. I could fill mine up within a week and have tried vaccuming out with a little success. After awhile also tried washing out with water, but am concerned it will not dry correctly and something could start growing in there.
Does anybody clean or just toss and insert a new one?

Hi Bill

I usualy blow out my filter with compressed air. Two years of use is a lot. You might buy a second filter so you have something to compair with. If you detect a difference between the new one and the 2 year old one then move on to the new filter. You should buy another spare.

For the last 2 years I have not been using the same filter. I had a couple of spares and have been using them. Actually just bought 4 more. It just seems like I could replace way to often if I do not find a good way to clean.
