Jet 16 inch planer ?

Hello all,
I am contemplating upgrading to a larger planer from my benchtop. The model I'm looking at is the Jet JWP-160S 16" . Its a 3 hp. 220 volt. Anyone familar with this model or Jet products in general? I saw at Amazon one guy bought this model and it was eating belts. The unit sells for 999.00 at my local woodcraft and it seems pretty heavy duty. Im going to try to post a pic with this ....... Hope it works.

I have this planer and love it so far. I havent used it alot but I havent had any trouble. It is made very well. I also saw them on ebay for $890.00 with free shipping.
