K so I just did my first cuts on 1/2" acrylic and they came out OK, my only thing was facing edge is not perfect so I was wondering if anyone has any tips or tricks for this? Is there anything that can help fix this? my only thing is I'm not doing a lot of acrylic right now so the cheaper the better thanks for any help

Be sure to leave or put transfer paper or a protective material on both sides.

For 1/2" I would cut in multiple passes.

Those are not salable in my judgment.

Your power is to high for the acrylic mirror, it's burning off the silvering. I would suggest that you run a few tests to see which will be best for the result, try running at maximum speed cutting out circles with low power. Then increase the power by 10% until you hit the jackpot

This is just 1/2" solid black acrylic,I left the paper mask over while I cut and when I peeled it off this is what it was like, How many passes do you guys usually use when cutting this thickness?

Looks like the paper mask burnt and affected the acrylic.
Were you using air assist?

You cant cut 1/2" thick perspex well without air assist.
