Can anybody give me some comments on these turning tools made in sheffield England.

Decent gouges, hate the handle. If the price is competitive with other similar quality tools (Sorby, Henry Taylor), go for it.

Figure each of those tools would cost, new, $30 ea., minimum. There seems to be plenty of life left in them. I'd say it's worth it.

I have a Record spindle gouge (1/4"), it is a good quality tool. That set is worth more than $100.

I would say the tools were around $400 new, you can take it from there.

I received a 1 1/2" left hand scraper last year for free with a order from heartville tool. I ground it into a skew and love it. It is a very large skew, but works great and would be useful if I ever need a weapon in my shop. It holds and edge as well as any tool in my shop. I wouldn't think twice about paying $100.00 for the set in the picture.
