Its been awhile since I,ve posted ,I have been doing my other hobbie, fly fishing and fly tying. With winter coming along I,m back to woodworking.
I found this chair in my wifes uncles barn loft.I made a pattern of it and I,m going to use red oak with black canvas for the seat.
Just thought you all might like to see the picture

Roger, that should make for a really great project! Be sure and document EVERYTHING for us...I feel some good learnin' comin'

Roger,
I see a couple of glimpses of a very nice shop set up. I like your grinder stand. Any chance of posting a shop tour? Also, is your fly fishing gear up to that set up?

Looks like a great winter project.
If the chair will be used outside and "might" get wet, you may want to consider using white oak instead of red oak as white real good outdoors, red not so good.
