Hello my question is there a easy way to change a color or gray scale vector file to black and white in Corel X4? Thanks Robert

Vector? Select all, change color property to black.

I'm not a Corel user but I think the OP is about selective color replacement. Select everything excluding white then do as Dan says. Posterization to 2 levels would allow more control.
