I'm gonna surprise a friend with a couple of goats to help with a few problems around his house.

Any places in NJ?

Have you tried Goat Town USA in Trenton? Last time I was there they had a good selection. The cast of Jersery Shore was there buying some as well.

Why don't you pick one up the next time you are here in NC. The ride back with a goat in the car should be a story of a life time!

I bought 3 goats at an auction once. I then sold 3 goats at the next auction!

Go to the source.... Check with local Vets and ask or call the local feed and grain and ask.... They will know the Farmers. Place a wanted AD in the local Penny Saver.... Wanted.... OLD GOAT..... That will get you some calls.....:D

Found it. I'm sure one of you will like this one for your very own.... guaranteed to keep the lawn growing, and mowed. I'll PM the lucky winner for a delivery address.

I have goats and I am curious what "problems" they would be qualified to fix.

I have been wanting dairy goats for a while now, but I think my .09 acre (most of which is house) might not be big enough.

Family had 'em growing up on a farm in Wisconsin. Like children--cute when they're little  :D. And yes, the billies can be 'aromatic'.

Any Navy bases nearby? They sometimes have them around fuel and ammo storage areas and someitmes sell the kids (which I wanted to do a few times but the wife wouldn't let me). Actually listed in inventory as "lawnmower, non-sparking"

BTW , nice new avatar. What do you really look like?

Gotta ask, Jim - when you say "sell the kids".....are we talking about hoofed variety or headache variety? :D

It was the headache kind my wife wouldn't let me sell.
