Rockler has the Rockwell Jawhorse "on sale" for $177.76, it normally sells for $179 so this is a discount of $1.24. Am I missing something here? This works out to a discount of less than 1%! I'm no marketing expert but this doesn't seem like a great incentive to buy.

Maybe if your goats aren't busy mowing or chasing the birds off your roof they could stand still and you could use them like saw horses. clamping might be a hassle though.
