Anyone ever use Minwax Polycrylic in a spray can?

I am putting a water base satin clear coat over water base semi-gloss back finish. I just sprayed one of my pieces and it appears to have a pretty intense 'purple-ish hue'.

Has anyone ever used this stuff in the spray can? Does it go on purple-ish and dry clear? I hope so...

I think I put too heavy of a coat. I kept going, but modified my technique. It looks nice and satin-y black. One piece will be purple-ish, unless it does happen do dry clear.
