I had to make a clock for my mill work class. The design was completely up to us, we just had to have a couple layers of molding. 100% maple with a couple coats of antique oil. The joints aren't nearly as tight as I would like, but overall its not bad.

Is the clock body one solid piece?

the sides are two pieces of 8/4, and the face is 4/4 rabbited out to fit over the sides with a 1/16" lip.. If that makes sense.
