Hi Everyone,

Here is an example of a drawer pull that want to duplicate. Does anyone know how it (or something similar) can be cut. I'm guessing it's a router bit, but I haven't been able to find an example profile of this kind of pull.

Yesterday I read a thread concerning why anyone wanted a tilt arbor shaper. That's an easy cut with such a machine. The profile is insignificant.

And while you are out buying the shaper, don't forget the staple gun!

An angle cut can be made by putting a wedge against the fence, as done with door pull bits.

:D Thanks David, I almost didn't want to post it for that reason. :D

I've made drawer fronts like that (without a tilting-arbor shaper!) by ripping the stock down the middle of where the pull will be, milling the two sides of the pull, then gluing the two pieces back together. The glue seam is buried down inside the pull, and is invisible. The trickiest part can be dealing with the squeeze-out inside the pull. A goose-neck scraper generally does the trick.
